Artemis - Nessus

Nesso by Artemide is a table lamp designed by Giancarlo Mattioli and the Città Nuova group of Urbanist Architects, which represents the futuristic and democratic design of the 1960s . Made of ABS resin in white or orange, this iconic lamp is a symbol of the lighting of the time and winner of the Studio Artemide/Domus competition. Its soft and sinuous shape, inspired by nature, is reminiscent of a mushroom and provides the surrounding space with homogeneous, downward-directed light.
